About Us
In Motion Dance Center was founded in 2007 by Lauren Martinich-McWain and has committed to being Lansing’s best dance studios for both beginners and experienced dancers. We offer a variety of dance education programs for our students. Classes are taught based on the individual’s ability level and age. Each class is structured in a way that ensures a perfect environment for learning.
Our classes are taught by professional dance instructors who have years of experience both as dancers and in teaching dance.
We proud to be a certified Twinkle Star Dance Program studio, and are certain we have the facility, experience, and programs to up your dancing experience!
When you dance your purpose is not to get to a certain place on the floor. It's to enjoy each step along the way.

Who We Are
From the beginning, In Motion Dance Center has been a dance center for the community. We provide dance education within Delta Township and the Grand Ledge surrounding areas.
Our annual Toys for Tots program in December provides donations of money and toys for children in our area. We allow our dancers to participate in many community events, parades, and festivals to show our support.
The dance industry is ever changing and our team at IMDC is constantly evaluating the way we operate to ensure that you, our dance families and students, get the best dance education and experience possible.
Owner Lauren Martinich-McWain has invested in dance syllabuses and trademarked programs, while continuing to hire qualified and educated dance instructors. These instructors further their own dance education every year. IMDC is a non-competitive dance studio focusing on teaching dance in a FUN atmosphere.
