Covid-19 Policy

We are pleased to welcome back students back to in-person classes here at the studio. Our staff has been working diligently to implement health procedures to be able to offer the safest environment for all.

We are closely monitoring policy changes and public health organizations and will continue to make changes as necessary. The plan below presents our best efforts to keep our dancers, families, and staff safe.

FLU LIKE SYMPTOMS

  • Any student, staff member, or parent that has flu-like symptoms, any symptom of COVID-19 within the past 10 days, or have had close contact with someone who is suspected or confirmed to have COVID-19 in the past 14 days, we ask that you please not attend class or enter the studio.

FACE COVERINGS

  • Face masks/face coverings are optional at this time.

LOBBY IS OPEN

  • Our lobby is currently open! We have limited seating in both the front and back lobby. If there are no seats available, we ask that you please wait in the car, or grab a coffee at Biggby!

LIMITING DANCER CAPACITY

  • Our class size limits will be set by allowing for at least 6 feet of distance between students at all times. Each student will have an assigned square, AKA “Sparkle Space”, and/or a spot on the floor and at the barre which will help to give dancers the optimal amount of space to continue practicing social distancing.

DANCER BELONGINGS

  • Please arrive dressed and ready for class. Each dancer will have a designated area for their belongings.

STUDIO CLEANLINESS & SANITATION

  • Following all CDC Guidance for cleaning and disinfecting, each studio will be cleaned and dance equipment and props will be disinfected between each use. Staff will frequently clean and disinfect all frequently touched surfaces (e.g., door handles), common areas (e.g., restrooms, waiting rooms), and equipment at a minimum every 2 hours while the facility is open and in operation. H13 HEPA Air purifiers are located in all studios. All cleaning materials are EPA-approved disinfectants against COVID-19 per CDC guidelines.

HAND CLEANING & WASHING

  • Hand sanitizer stations are at the entrance of the building and inside each studio. You will be required to cleanse your hands upon arrival. Staff and dancers should wash their hands regularly. The CDC recommends this as one of the best practices to avoid transmission of the virus.

RESTROOMS

  • To minimize usage, we encourage dancers to use the restroom prior to class at home. We have two restrooms in the studio and sanitize it regularly.
